Nature expressed through watercolor, a singular style

Upon visiting the town of Poughkeepsie, back in 2014, Mitsu Haraguchi instantly fell in love with the place, one that is historically charged.

Ever since he was a child, Mitsu Haraguchi was always passionate about art. About 10 years ago, he operated a turning point in his life and career by fully dedicating himself to painting. His ever-so-singular style comes from his study ofthe art of watercoloring. Upon visiting the town of Poughkeepsie, back in 2014, Haraguchi instantly fell in love with the place, one that is historically charged. Through his expression, Mitsu resuscitates the essence of the olden days’ 19th century buildings, along with the spirit of Victorian and colonial inspired buildings. Through the medium of watercolor, he manages to contrast purity and luster with the whiteness of the paper.
